I dream of utopian educational spaces.

Sometimes I contemplate the idea of helping set up one of such spaces (the codename for years of one of such spaces has been The Astronomy Village).

I will forever feel inspired by Black Mountain College in the US and the Institut für Raumexperimente (IfREX) in Berlin. Both of them had a finite duration and did not aspire to institutional eternity. For the IfREX, it was completely intentional; its expiration date was known from the very beginning.

Sometimes I dream of a circus moving around with troupes of scientists, artists, and mystics. Setting up shop in different places and then moving around for the next gig in a different place.

What type of person would be ready to take that leap?
