#newpaper out! 🌌🔭

New research using the Dark Energy Spectroscopic Instrument (DESI) reveals an interesting connection between small galaxy groups and the cosmic web.

Key finding: We've found that "multiplets" (small groups of galaxies) retain a "memory" of the large-scale structure they originated from, regardless of galaxy type.

This work advances our understanding of cosmic structure formation, offering a new way to trace the cosmic web that avoids common measurement issues.

This research is led by Dr. Claire Lamman. It was a privilege to collaborate with her on this study.
