cosmic web research
My journey in cosmic web research spans 15 years, by now.
In 2009, we began by identifying the cosmic web in simulated universes. By 2014, our focus shifted to studying the alignments between simulated dark matter halos and the cosmic web structure. Most recently, we've advanced to measuring cosmic web alignments using observational data from the Dark Energy Spectroscopic Instrument.
Very proud to be collaborating on that project with Claire Lamman. Also very glad to involve an undergraduate student from Universidad de Los Andes in this cutting-edge research.
Here is a video that Claire made on this research. Enjoy!
