art+science collaborations

What do an Amazonian elder, an activist, and an astrophysicist have in common?

Almost 13 years ago, when I lived in Berlin, I started my first collaboration with an artist. This marked the beginning of numerous collaborations I would undertake for nearly a decade with other artists. This path led me to collaborate with radical activists, indigenous elders, and underserved communities in dangerous outskirts of Bogotá.

As I reflect on these multifaceted, polymorphic collaborations, I feel it's time to pay tribute to the past while also sowing seeds for my future involvement with the arts.

One example of these collaborations is "Antenas con Raíces" (https://quiasma.co/antenasconraices).

I will share more about this type of work over the next few days.
